FIREFIGHTERS raced to put out a car that was ablaze in Oxford.
Crews from Slade Park fire station attended the fire in Marigold Close, Oxford at 11pm on Thursday.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service reported the fire was extinguished by two firefighters in breathing apparatus using a hose reel jet.

Firefighters then used their battery-operated spreading equipment to get into the car and check for any hotspots.
The service said nobody was hurt and the fire was extinguished before it spread to nearby vehicles and neighbouring properties.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
