OXFORD MAGISTRATES' COURT

GULFRAZ ASHRAF, 46, of Windrush, Banbury, admitted driving at 88mph in a 70mph zone on the M40 at junctions 11 to 10 Southbound. He was fined £108, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with three penalty points.

ZEFRI GONCALVES, 33, of Peat Moors, Headington, admitted driving without third party insurance and without a licence on March 7 in Blackbird Leys, Oxford. He was fined £440 in total, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £44 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

MAXIMILLIAN KAYUM, 28, of Blackbird Leys, Oxford, was convicted of driving without third party insurance on October 13 in Oxford. He was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

SHAUN YOUNG, 23, of Leach Road, Bicester, admitted using a handheld mobile phone while driving on Manorsfield Road in Bicester on October 18. He was fined £220, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

SIMONE ADAMS, 31, of Queen Street, Banbury, admitted driving at 53mph in a 30mph zone on the A44 in Worcester Road, Chipping Norton on October 3. She was fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. Her driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

JACK WHITTON, 26, of Barford Road, Bloxham, was convicted of failing to give information relating to the identity of a driver when required by police in Banbury between October 5 and November 2. He was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

NICHOLAS WISHART, 22, of Pelican Place, Eynsham, admitted driving at 38mph in a 30mph zone on Banbury Road, near Lovelace Square in Oxford on September 12. He was fined £58, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with three penalty points.

LEANDRO ZIRONDI, 24, of Bicester Road, Kidlington, was convicted of driving at 51mph in a 40mph zone on a road in Kidlington on August 27. He was fined £220, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with three penalty points.

TRANDAFIR ALEXANDRU, 29, of Woodfield, Banbury, was convicted of failing to give information about the identification of the driver to police in Banbury when required between December 2 and December 30. He was fined £660, ordered to pay a court costs of £90 and a victim surcharge of £190. He was also disqualified from driving for six months.

SOPHIA TAPP, 20, of Farthinghoe Road, Charlton, admitted driving without third party insurance on June 10 in Milton Keynes. She was fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. She was also disqualified from driving for six months.

ROBERT WHITING, 38, of Aldebarton Drive, Headington, admitted being in possession of cannabis, a class B drug, in Abingdon on August 9. He was discharged conditionally for 12 months but was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £22 and court costs of £85. The drugs must also be forfeited to be destroyed.

KEVIN JONES, 39, of HMP Bullingdon, Bicester, admitted assault by beating of a prison officer on November 4 in Bicester. He also admitted assault by beating of an emergency worker, namely a prison officer, on October 11 and May 22. He was jailed for 24 weeks in total because of the 'repeated assaults on prison officers carrying out their duty'. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £128.

LAWRENCE PARKER, 30, of Sycamore Way, Didcot, admitted being in possession of an offensive weapon, namely a plastic pick axe handle, in Didcot without a reasonable excuse on March 23. He was made subject of a community order and as part of that must attend appointments with a responsible officer for eight days. He was also made to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £85. He must forfeit the weapon to be destroyed.

GARETH CALEER, 47, of Castle Street, Wallingford, admitted speeding in a 40mph zone on the M25 clockwise to junction 5 at the Clacket Lane Services on June 5. He was fined £865, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £87 and court costs of £95. He was also disqualified from driving for 28 days.

HEATHER HUGHES, 53, of no fixed abode, admitted assault by beating on July 28 in Wantage. She was made subject to a community order and as part of that must attend appointments with a responsible officer for 24 days. She has also been made the subject of a restraining order and must not contact the victim directly or indirectly until April 2023. She was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £85.

ANTHONY MARTIN, 41, of no fixed abode, admitted breaching a criminal behaviour order made by Oxford Magistrates' Court on March 3 by being in possession of an open container of alcohol and obstructing traffic by walking in and out of the road while intoxicated on April 20 in Oxford Road, Benson. He was sentenced for the original offence of lying in the middle of the road intoxicated in Dorchester-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, on February 10. The suspended sentence was activated and he was jailed for 24 weeks in total. In the court documents it said he has a 'flagrant disregard for court orders'. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £128.

LORNA SINCLAIR, 56, of Dirac Place, Didcot, admitted drink-driving on January 30 at Wykeham Crescent. She had 48mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. She was fined £184, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85. She was also disqualified from driving for 14 months.

ANDREW CHALMERS, 73, of Charlton Road, Wantage, was convicted of assault by beating and assault by beating of an emergency worker on March 20, 2020 in Wantage. He was fined £200 in total, ordered to pay compensation of £100, court costs of £300 and a victim surcharge of £32.

ROYSTON BAILEY, 46, of Dover Close, Oxford, admitted drink-driving on December 13 in Oxford. He had 175mcg of alcohol per 100ml of blood, above the legal limit of 80mcg. He was fined £200, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 17 months.
