A CYCLIST is in hospital with 'serious injuries' after a crash in Oxford

She was cycling along St Clements Street near to the junction of Boulter Street when she collided with a black or blue hatchback at 8.20am today. 

The driver stopped initially but then left without leaving their details.

The woman, who is in her 30s, has injuries which are not life-threatening. 

Investigating officer, PC Chris Weatherley, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident to please come forward.

“Further, I’d also ask any motorists who were in the area around the time of the incident to check any dash-cam footage in case it may have captured something that could help our investigation.
