A SWINDON town centre hotel is being used to quarantine travellers who have returned to England.
People returning from countries on the government’s red list will be staying at Jurys Inn to help stop the spread of Covid-19, reports BBC Radio Wiltshire. India, South Africa, and Brazil are all on the list.
Travellers must pay for the 10 days they have to quarantine at the hotel in Fleming Way, which they aren’t allowed to leave. They will be transported from Heathrow Airport, and they won’t be allowed to go home until the 10 days are up.
Staff at the hotel are being tested for the virus every day to prevent transmission.
