A TEENAGER was taken to hospital after a gang fight in Oxford.
At about 12.30am yesterday, emergency services were called to Oxford Supermarket on Pegasus Road.
Ambulance crews attended after a 17-year-old boy was found bleeding from his leg.
Police now believe that he was hurt during an altercation with about 20 people involved.
He has since been discharged from hospital.
Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Lisa Jones, of Oxford CID, said: “I’m appealing to anyone who has any information about this incident to get in touch.
“If you saw this assault, or if you have any information about an altercation involving a number of people in the Pegasus Road area in the early hours of yesterday morning, please contact us as you could have details which are vital to our investigation.
“If you can help, please call the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number on 101, quoting reference number 43210197791.”
