OXFORD has ranked as one of the worst cities for boiler breakdowns.
According to data analysis by Online Mortgage Advisor, of the Government's local authority housing statistics, Oxford was the second-worst city, after Slough, for boiler breakdowns.

Data released last month showed out of the 7,502 local authority homes, 647 boilers needed to be replaced between 2019 and 2020.
This means almost 9 per cent of boilers broke in local authority houses in one year.
Nationwide, the South East had fewer boiler replacements than other regions across England, with 3.78 per cent needing replacing, compared to 6.12 per cent in the East of England.
