A GROUP of schoolgirls have won an award after creating their own sustainable homeware business.
The eco-friendly company, called Kioko, was created by a group of Oxford High School students as part of the Young Enterprise competition.
Kioko sells bowls, candles, and hanging baskets made from coconut shells, and won Company of the Year in the South Oxfordshire Final. The entrepreneurs also took home the Best Company Report award.

The business, which is run by managing directors Shreya Verma, 16, and Lizzie Caird, 16, both from Oxford, will now go on to take part in the regional competition.
The company has now expanded to also create fun bowls for children.

Young Enterprise is a nationwide competition that provides young people aged 15 to 19 with the opportunity to set up their own real company while they still attend school or college.
