Oxford-based New Internationalist magazine, which has pioneered ethical journalism for almost 50 years, has launched a community share offer to fund a Covid-19 'rescue plan'.
The 3,600 member strong multi-stakeholder co-operative is inviting supporters and readers from around the world to invest in its £350,000 community share offer.
Its campaign is backed by grassroots activists and celebrities, including musician Brian Eno.

New Internationalist co-editor Amy Hall said: “Stories like ours are needed more than ever.
“We’ve managed to keep publishing throughout the pandemic but now we need a boost from our supporters to make it through.”
