THAMES Valley Police are appealing for witnesses after five serious incidents across Oxfordshire this week.  

In appeals online, officers have urged anybody witnesses to come forward.

  • Car crashes into building and three parked cars 

Oxford Mail:

A man has been charged by police after a serious crash in Banbury

At around 2pm on Sunday (April 25) a silver Citroen C4 was leaving a car park on Bolton Road when it crashed into a building and then three parked cars. 

Nobody was injured but investigators say 'there is a good chance someone will have seen what happened'.

  • Police hunt after arson in flats 

Officers are looking for this man after a noticeboard was set on fire at a block of flats on Frenchay Road in Oxford

At around 6.30am on February 18, residents woke up to the grim discovery that their communal area was on fire. 

It was put out quickly by the neighbours so minimal damage was caused.

  • Police hunt man after daytime burglary

Oxford Mail:

Police are looking for this man after a power drill was stolen in a daytime burglary. 

The DeWalt drill was taken from the shop on Sandy Lane West between 11.30am and 2.40pm on April 6.

  • Woman punched in the leg near the Westgate Centre 

Oxford Mail:

A woman was punched in the leg in Bonn Square.

At around 3pm on Wednesday, she was approached by a man near the Westgate and they had an altercation.

He then punched her, leaving bruises on her left knee.

The man was described as white, in his 40s, around 5ft 9ins tall with a slim build. He had light coloured hair and a brown curly beard.

At the time he was wearing a grey hooded jumper, baggy dark trousers and a dark hat.
