Thames Valley Police is taking action against knife crime with amnesty bins in Oxfordshire.
Police will be taking part in Operation Sceptre, a national week of action designed to crack down on the threat of knife crime in the Thames Valley.
The knife amnesty will run between Monday April 26 and Sunday May 2, during which members of the public will be able to safely and anonymously dispose of any type of knife or bladed article.
The bins will be in Abingdon, Oxford and Banbury police stations.
If you have any information about the possession of knives or criminal activity relating to this type of crime, please report online via Thames valley police website or call 101.
