THAMES VALLEY Police have provided 'mini police' uniforms for children of Blackbird Leys.
Writing on their social media, TVP said: “Children’s encounters with the police have a lasting effect on how they view the force and engage with them as adults.”

The Blackbird Leys Neighbourhood Team and Thames Valley Violence Reduction Unit secured 40 Mini Police uniforms for children in the area.
Mini Police is a national police primary school engagement programme as part of the National Volunteer Police Cadets.
The programme si aimed at those age 8-11 year olds.
It hopes to engage younger children with the Police Cadets and is operated between local police and primary schools.
TVP added: "Looking forward to some meaningful engagements this summer with our local schools and community."
