TODAY is the last day to register to vote.
Register by 11.59pm tonight to be able to vote in the elections on May 6.
The elections on May 6 will be for the local government and police and crime commissioner.

Who can register?
Anybody over the age of 16 can register to vote.
You must also be either: a British citizen, Irish citizen living in the UK, a Commonwealth citizen who has permission to stay in the UK, a citizen of another country living in Scotland or Wales.
What do I need to register?
You will need to know your name and address and your National Insurance number (but you can still register if you do not have have one).
