OXFORD MAGISTRATES' COURT

RYAN SMITH, 26, of Walterbush Road, Chipping Norton, admitted driving without a licence and without third party insurance on September 9 in Chipping Norton. He was fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. He was also disqualified from driving for six months.

ZOE HUNT, 23, of Saunders Road, Oxford, admitted driving at 102mph in a 70mph zone on the A34 in Chieveley in Berkshire on September 1. She was fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. She was also disqualified from driving for 56 days.

MELVIN MERRITT, 41, of Keble Road, Bicester, admitted drink-driving on Bowyer Road, Abingdon on February 26. He had 113mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. He was fined £450, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £45 and court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for six months.

JOANNE MCCLEMENTS, 44, of Hill Top Road, Oxford, admitted criminal damage to Abingdon Police Station on Colwell Drive by damaging cell wells and intercom. She also admitted burglary at Hill Top Road by stealing a phone, costing £60, and a necklace and television, costing an unknown amount. She was dealt with for breaching a suspended sentence made by Oxford Magistrates' Court on Janurary 11 for seven counts of theft from a shop in Oxford. The sentence was activated and she was jailed for 13 weeks in total. She must also pay a victim surcharge of £128.

ANDREW ACHILLEOS, 59, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing: 10 bottles of Champagne, costing £437, from Sainsburys in Oxford on October 9; 12 bottles of alcohol, costing £401, from Sainsbury's in Didcot on November 12; alcohol, costing £268, from Sainsbury's in Oxford on October 5; alcohol, costing £235, from Sainsbury's in Oxford on November 15; alcohol and vape products, costing £414, from Sainsbury's in Kidlington on February 2; alcohol, costing £230, from Sainsbury's in Oxford on September 8; alcohol, costing £164, from Sainsbury's in Oxford on September 20. He also admitted assault by beating a woman on October 9 in Oxford. He was jailed for 16 weeks because the offence is 'so serious' and because of his previous record. He must pay compensation of £170 and was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £128.

ELLIOTT HARPER, 25, of no fixed abode, admitted failing without a reasonable excuse to comply with the supervision requirements following a release from prison by failing to attend appointments on December 10, 17 and 24 with no reasonable excuse as well as failing to surrender to custody at Oxford Magistrates' Court on January 20 after being released from prison. He also admitted stealing: deodorant, costing £100, from Boots on Cowley Road on July 27 and November 22; gift sets, costing £160, from Boots on Cowley Road on October 26; jackets, costing £288, from Next at Oxford Retail Park on November 1; alcohol, candles and alcohol, costing £300, from Tesco on Cowley Road, on December 1; and washing powder, costing £42.95, from the Co-op in Oxford, on October 28. He was jailed for two weeks because of his previous record of offending. He must also pay compensation of £240.

MARK PATERSON, 30, of Colemans Hill, Oxford, admitted drink-driving on Cherwell Road, Oxford on December 23. He had 183mcg of alcohol per 100ml of blood, above the legal limit of 80mcg. He was fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 36 months.

CHARLOTTE PAULING, 34, of St Nicholas Road, Oxford, admitted breaching a criminal behaviour order (CBO) on March 27 by going to Paradise Square in Oxford City Centre. She was fined £100 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34.

SONIA BIBI, 27, of Danesmoor, Banbury, admitted drug-driving on February 24 on Wildmere Road, Banbury. She had 3.4mcg of cannabis in one litre of blood, above the legal limit of 2mcg. She was fined £250, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £700. She was also disqualified from driving for 16 months.

TONY NICHOLS, 26, of Valentia Road, Oxford, admitted drug-driving on Old Parr Close, Banbury, on July 22, 2019. He had 5.5mcg of cannabis in one litre of blood, above the legal limit of 2mcg. He also admitted being in possession of a 'large spliff' and 'wrap of cannabis', a class B drug, on July 22, 2019 in Banbury. He was fined £250, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85.

MATTHEW FORD, 30, of William Smith Close, Churchill, Oxfordshire, admitted drug-driving on September 14 in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire. He had 423mcg of Ketamine in one litre of blood, above the legal limit of 20mcg. He also admitted being in possession of 5.59grammes of Ketamine, a class B drug, on September 14 in Chipping Norton. He was fined £150, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85. He was disqualified from driving for 20 months.

PETRICIA BALABAN, 28, of Lyndworth Close, Headington, admitted breaching a community order made by Oxford Magistrates' Court on February 13 by failing to attend supervision appointments on October 28 and December 15 and not having a reasonable excuse why. He was fined £25.

CONNAGH DOIG, 28, of Merton Street, Banbury, admitted breaching a community order made by Oxford Magistrates' Court on October 10, 2019 by failing to attend unpaid work sessions on September 13 and March 1, 2021 and not having a reasonable excuse. The order made by the court was varied and the unpaid work requirement was extended by six months so he can complete 105 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months. He was also fined £200.

MARTIN COX, 48, of Couldrey Close, Abingdon, admitted breaching a criminal behaviour order (CBO) made by Oxford Magistrates' Court on October 8, by drinking alcohol in a public place in Abingdon on March 29. He also admitted using threatening and abusive words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress on March 29 in Abingdon. He was fined £200, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85.

DELROY JOHNS, 45, of Abingdon Road, Oxford, admitted driving whilst disqualified and driving without third party insurance on Botley Road on February 11. He was fined £150, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for six months.

JAMES WELLS, 50, of Rymers Lane, Oxford, admitted stealing 8 Nicotine Nasal Sprays from Boots in Oxford on July 16. He was ordered to pay compensation of £184, a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £50.
