EMERGENCY beds will be available for people experiencing rough sleeping after Oxford City Council activated its severe weather emergency protocol (SWEP).
Emergency beds will now be open until Friday morning.
The council said SWEP will probably close on Friday due to the forecast predicting warmer overnight temperatures, however the situation will be kept under review.
Since SWEP was first activated on December 23, 72 individuals have taken a SWEP room.
The council activates SWEP on every night the Met Office forecasts freezing overnight temperatures.
