THERE are still two weeks to register to vote for upcoming local elections.

On May 6, there will be elections for Oxford City Council, Oxfordshire County Council, the Thames Valley Police and Crime Commissioner, as well as Cherwell and West Oxfordshire district councils.

Anyone who wishes to vote in these elections has to register to take part, and must do so before 11.59pm on April 19.

Anyone who is over 16 can register to vote and must be a British citizen, an Irish or EU citizen living in the UK, a Commonwealth citizen who has permission to enter or stay in the UK, or who does not need permission.
