TWENTY people have tested positive for coronavirus in Oxfordshire.

According to Public Health England, nobody has died in the county within 28 days of a positive Covid-19 test result.

As it is, there are 3,536 people in hospital with the virus across the UK.

Of those, 517 are on ventilation.

This can be compared with a month ago when 1,866 patients were on venation across England alone.

Now, at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (the trust responsible for the John Radcliffe, Churchill, Nuffield and Horton Hospitals) four patients were admitted to hospital yesterday, bringing the total number of people who have tested positive in hospital currently to 10.

Of those, one is on ventilation.

At Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust, there are no new patients who have tested positive for the virus at any community or mental health hospitals in Oxfordshire.

In a daily update, PHE also revealed that 20 had tested positive for Covid-19 in Oxfordshire.
