PUPILS have had a miniature house built for them by a local housebuilder.

Barton Park Primary School was gifted the play house by Redrow Thames Valley.

The house is designed for outdoor play at the school, which opened in September 2020.

Barton Park head of school Bryony McCraw said: “The children were so excited when they saw the new play house for the first time, and they couldn’t wait to get inside and start playing with their friends.

“Facilities like this really do help to encourage outdoor learning, and inspire children to use nature and their surroundings as part of imaginative play.

“We’re incredibly grateful and judging by the amount of time the children have spent in the play house, we know they are too.”
