A GARAGE was left completely destroyed after a massive fire yesterday afternoon.
Firefighters raced to Churchill Road, in Kidlington, at 3.08pm as the blaze tore through the building.
Emergency services were worried it would spread to the neighbours house but quick-thinking from the crew had the fire under control.
One resident was left with minor injuries trying to save precious items.
Incident Commander Watch Manager Ellis Bicknell said: “It’s that time of year when petrol powered garden machinery is re-emerging after its winter hibernation.
This incident was a timely reminder to ensure machinery is started-up outside and away from flammable materials.”
