SFC is recalling a range of its products after discoveries of Salmonella.

In an update from the Food Standards Agency, all batch codes are affected with best before up to and including June 30, 2022.

Products after this best before date are not affected.

Products recalled include:

  • SFC Crispy Dippers
  • SFC Crispy Dippers (Halal) 
  • SFC Southern Fried Chicken Strips (155 and 400g)
  • SFC Southern Fried Chicken Strips (Halal)
  • SFC Mega Box
  • SFC Southern Fried Chicken Burgers
  • Little Hill Farm Chicken Breast Fillets
  • SFC Poppets
  • SFC Poppets (Halal)
  • SFC Take-Home Boneless Bucket
  • SFC Take-Home Boneless Box (550, 600 and 625g)
  • SFC Take-Home Boneless Box (Halal)
  • SFC Chicken Nuggets

SFC put additional food safety controls in place in November 2020 to improve the safety of its products.

It has now taken the precautionary step of recalling all products manufactured before the new and additional controls were put in place.

Symptoms caused by Salmonella usually include fever, diarrhoea and abdominal cramps.
