MORE THAN 500 bits of graffiti were removed from Oxford's picturesque streets in one month.
The words 'ZUZ' and 'SOAK' were the most common to pop up around the St Clement's area.
One councillor Tom Hayes said: “Last month St Clement’s was prioritised by the Council for the removal of unwanted graffiti. Unwanted graffiti blights communities and it’s an eyesore for everyone.
"It’s great to see our neighbourhood looking even nicer and vandals running around the ward I live in having their unwanted graffiti scrubbed away.
"I’ve been out a few times with the graffiti removal team and, once the pandemic has passed, I can’t wait to get out again with the amazing team and jet spray away any unwanted graffiti!”
