OXFORD MAGISTRATES’ COURT

ROBERT MACRAE, 34, of Cypress Gardens, Bicester, admitted driving without third party insurance in Bicester on July 27. He was fined £427, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £43 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

KYRAN MCCARTHY, 18, of Wallin Road, Banbury, was convicted of driving on Queen’s Way, Banbury, without insurance April 16. He was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £88 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

JAMIE ROKINS, 30, of Northcourt Road, Abingdon, admitted assault by beating of a woman on September 20, 2019 and using threatening and abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress on the same day. He was fined £200, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85.

MARK ROKINS, 35, of Mill Road, Abingdon, admitted using threatening or abusive words and behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress on September 20, 2019. He was fined £150, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85.

DAMIAN PEEDLE, 46, of Station Road, Wallingford, was convicted of failing to give information about the identification of a driver when required on September 6 in Oxfordshire. He was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

BEN CULLEN, 40, of Revell Close, Wallingford, admitted driving at 51mph in a 40mph zone on Reading Road in Cholsey. He was fined £40, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with three penalty points.

AURELIAN-IONUT SPIRU, 27, of Westminster Way, Banbury, admitted stealing a Braun men's shave, costing £50, from a man in Oxford on December 16. 2019. He was fined £300 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32.

GARY WICKENS, 39, of Wickens Cres, Bicester, admitted stealing £47 worth of cleaning products from April 21 as well as £60 worth of toiletries on April 27, £31.35 of nappies on May 4, £78 worth of toiletries on May 11, £122.90 worth of toiletries on May 12 all from Wilkinson in Bicester. He was ordered to pay £230.50 worth of compensation. He also admitted breaching a suspended sentence made by Oxford Magistrates' Court on November 12, 2019. The sentence of 20 weeks imprisonment suspended for 18 months was extended to 24 months.

PAUL LAW, 35, of Merton Close, Eynsham, admitted using threatening, abusive and insulting words to cause fear on September 10 in Abingdon as well as obstructing a police officer in execution of his duty on September 10 in Abingdon. He was fined £200, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85.

CRAIG CHARLETT, 35, of Collinwood Road, Risinghurst, admitted assault by beating on February 8 on Collinwood Road, Oxford. He was fined £150, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85.

STEPHEN MCMILLAN, 28, of Galingale Close, Bicester, admitted drug-driving in Bicester on July 21. He had 3.7mcg of cannabis in one litre of blood, above the legal limit of 2mcg. He also admitted driving without a licence and without third party insurance and breaching a community order made by Oxford Magistrates' Court on August 7. He was sentenced for the original offence of failing to provide a specimen for analysis at Abingdon Police Station. He was made subject to a community order and must carry out 149 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 36 months.

LIAM TURTON, 30, of no fixed abode, admitted assault by beating on February 5 in Reliance Way. He was sent to prison for six weeks because the offence was 'so serious on a vulnerable adult'. He was also made subject to a restraining order and must not contact the victim directly or indirectly. He will pay a £128 victim surcharge.

JANE BROWNSORD, 52, of Manor Road, Wantage, admitted assault by beating on December 23, 2019. She was discharged but must pay court costs of £775.

SEBASTIAN HAYES, 27, of Little Wittenham, Abingdon, admitted driving at 36mph in a 30mph zone on the A415 in Burcot. He was fined £66 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34. His driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

KARLY HUNT, 24, of Neithrop Close, Banbury, admitted driving at 35mph in a 30mph zone on Stratford Road, Wroxton, on July 20. She was fined £66, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £45. Her driving licence was also endorsed with three penalty points.

OLIVER INGRAM, 26, of Princes Street, Oxford, admitted driving at 35mph in a 30mph zone on July 20 in Oxford. He was fined £66 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34. His driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

CRAIG GREALY, 40, of St Helens Mews, Abingdon, admitted breaching the requirements of a community order made by Oxford Magistrates' Court on October 2 by failing to attend meetings on October 13 and 15. He was fined £50.

MASON ARNOLD, 20, of Foundry Street, Banbury, admitted breaching a community order made by Oxford Magistrates' Court on July 16 by failing to attend telephone appointments on September 10 and January 11. He was sentenced for the original offence on December 25, 2019 of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to a person in Bicester. He was made subject to a community order and must attend appointments with a responsible officer for 20 days.

REUBEN CAMPBELL-MAASZ, 28, of Peppercorn Avenue, Oxford, admitted drink-driving on October 15 in Oxford. He had not less than 100mcg of alcohol per 100ml of blood, above the legal limit of 80mcg. He was fined £80, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 12 months.

JANET MILLIKIN, 64, of Fitchett Yard, Ock Street, admitted criminal damage to telephone, costing £10, at Abingdon Community Hospital on January 29 as well as obstructing a highway at the John Radcliffe Hospital on February 10. She was discharged but ordered to pay £10 in compensation.

LESTER MCCALLA, 42, of Diamond Drive, Didcot, admitted stealing hair straighteners, costing £79.99, from Boots in Didcot on June 21. He was ordered to pay compensation of £79.99 and costs of £85.
