INVESTIGATIONS into the deaths of 13 people from Oxfordshire will be held at court this week. 

The coroner at Oxford Coroners' Court will aim to answer four questions: who the person was, how, when and where they died. 

From 10am on Tuesday, the coroner will close the investigations into the deaths of: 

  • Dexter Thompson, 38, from Oxford, who died on October 25 in Oxford Youth Hostel
  • David Riddell, 48, from Abingdon, who died on October 14 in Abingdon
  • Peter Hazelwood, 81, from Reading, who died January 19 in Royal Berkshire Hospital

From 11.30am, a pre-inquest review will be held into the death of: 

  • Robert Mallinson, 68, from Didcot, who died on August 23 in the John Radcliffe Hospital

From 10am on Wednesday, the coroner will close the investigations into the deaths of: 

  • Gabrielle Kirtland, 23, from Banbury, who died on October 20 in Horton General Hospital
  • Keith Souch, 86, from Oxford, who died on January 16 in the John Radcliffe Hospital
  • Albert Wheeler, 83, from Witney, who died on October 23 in the John Radcliffe Hospital
  • John Davies, 86, from Oxford, who died on October 21 in the John Radcliffe Hospital
  • Betty Martin, 100, from Thame, who died on December 17 in the John Radcliffe Hospital
  • Nina Phipps, 94, from Oxford, who died on December 7 in the Horton General Hospital
  • Joe Edwards, 33, from Witney, who died on September 22 in Chesterton
  • Ian Carrington, 84, from Chipping Norton, who died on December 26 in Chipping Norton

At midday on Thursday, the coroner will open the inquest into the death of Teresa Mombrun, 64, who died in the John Radcliffe Hospital on February 26. This will be held out of court.
