A LIFESTYLE study by hotel chain Travelodge reveals a growing trend of a new room concept emerging in homes across Oxford as a result of people in the city working from home.
Due to not many houses having the luxury of a home office, a spare room and limited living space, more than half of workers have redesigned their bedroom to become a multi-use ‘Bedoffice’.
A third of Oxford workers say that they find it more relaxing to work from their ‘Bedoffice’ as it helps them to mentally detach from their living space during the working day.
