Sir - A full page article in Weekend (December 14) by the verbose Christopher Gray about two satellite dishes on a listed building versus an article buried on page seven of the newspaper about the scandalous proposal to hike rent for traders in the covered market by up to 50 per cent a year.
If Mr Gray really wants to get his dander up, perhaps his time would be better spent championing the cause of the beleaguered small traders in Oxford's historic Covered Market.
