CCTV footage of a fish and chips thief was posted to Facebook by an angry business owner after a man ran away with his lunch without paying for it.

The man was caught on CCTV stealing food from Reeves fish and chip shop in Abingdon on Wednesday at 1pm.

The CCTV footage shows the man leaning over the counter to grab his food before dashing out the door without paying.

The chip shop owner took to Facebook and posted the image from the CCTV footage of the man clutching his fish and chips leaving the door to warn other businesses.

Although many readers were disgusted at the man’s actions, a lot of people saw the funny side.
