BLENHEIM Palace has promoted of one of its apprentices to be a 'guest services supervisor'.
Nicole Nielsen-Pike, 19, from Woodstock, is part of the stately home’s apprenticeship scheme, which offers up to 10 apprenticeships each year, with a 10-year goal of training at least 100 apprentices by 2027.

Blenheim’s apprenticeships start throughout the year and are open to anyone over the age of 16.
The teenager has been an apprentice at Blenheim for three years, and is currently also working on her BA chartered manager degree apprenticeship in business and management at Oxford Brookes University.

Ms Nielsen-Pike said: “I first joined Blenheim when I was 16 after leaving school. I wanted to gain experience of working life and learn on the job.”
