TAXI drivers in Bicester, Banbury and Kidlington have threatened to strike on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
The warning comes after two recent strikes sparked by a Cherwell District Council decision to delimit the number of hackney cab licences.
Sikander Hayat, chairman of the Cherwell Valley Hackney Carriage Association, said he hoped further strike action would be unnecessary but said it was "a big possibility".
