A SUPER-FIT father is running every day for 100 days to raise money for his daughter's dance school.

David Lammin, father of Darcie, wanted to start running again to improve his mental health over lockdown but decided to put his exercise to good use by trying to raise money for KC's School of Dance, Oxford.

He said: "I thought why not push myself that bit further and do something more mentally and physically challenging whilst raising money for a good cause at the same time."

The dance school is funded purely by donations and due to the pandemic has not been able to raise as much money as it usually would have.

Mr Lammin added: "I know from watching my daughter how important this dance school is as not only does it give her something on and feel a sense of achievement it also gives her a dance family where she has made new friends of different ages from different schools.

"Especially during the lockdown period dance gives her something to look forward to and put a smile on her face."

Mr Lammin will run a minimum of 5km on each run.

So far he has totalled 180.5km which is the equivalent of running from Oxford to Sheffield.
