PART of the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, was evacuated this afternoon after a fire.
Oxfordshire ambulance service was called to the scene at 12.40pm after receiving the alert from the fire service.
An ambulance spokesman said: "It looks like people have been evacuated from the hospital but nobody's injured and nobody has to be treated.
"However the hospital is currently difficult to access."
