The John Radcliffe Hospital was evacuated this afternoon after a fire broke out.
Oxfordshire ambulance service was called to the scene at 12.40pm after receiving the alert from the fire service.
An ambulance spokesman said: "It looks like people have been evacuated from the hospital but nobody's injured and nobody has to be treated.
"However the hospital is currently difficult to access."
She added one ambulance officer and one solo paramedic attended the scene.
