FREE taxis are being offered to those over 70s going to get their Covid vaccine.

001 Taxis are providing all local residents over the age of 70 with free car rides to and from their local doctor's surgery to get their Covid-19 vaccine.

Free taxi rides will be offered from today until Monday February 15.

To book your journey to your local doctor's surgery, call 001 Taxis on 01865240000 and quote 'vaccine' along with your booking details.

001 Taxis are also looking to partner with local businesses to help provide them with a delivery service over lockdown.

The company has already paired with a number of Oxford-based businesses including Ahmey's Late Night Pharmacy, in Cowley.

It also providing food delivery for local takeaways including, Spring Greens Cafe, in Osney Mead, Cafe Bap, on Abingdon Road, and Connie's Caribbean Grill in Cowley.
