A MAN has been jailed after police found a hidden stash of drugs in his car.

Thomas Webb, of Holton Turn, Oxford, was stopped in a Vauxhall Insignia on the Holloway on September 16, 2019.

A search of the vehicle revealed a ‘hide’ with drugs inside including Ketamine.

Detectives from the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SECOCU) then searched his house and found evidence of MDMA and cocaine drug supply.

The 28-year-old appeared in the dock of Oxford Crown Court on September 10, 2020 and admitted:

  • One count of possession with intent to supply class A, MDMA
  • One count of being concerned in the supply of class A, Cocaine
  • One count of possession with intent to supply class B, Ketamine
  • One count of acquiring criminal property
  • One count of possession of an offensive weapon

Last Monday (Jan 18) Webb was jailed at the same court for eight years.

Detective Constable Tim Blanche from SEROCU said: “Serious and organised crime causes misery to the communities of the South East through the supply of drugs.

“SEROCU will continue to target these criminals and we will seize and destroy what we find.

“Webb was actively involved in these crimes, which can cause some of the most serious harm to our communities.

“The significant discovery of drugs in this case has led to their removal from their intended destination, the streets in our community.

“I am pleased he faces a significant prison sentence.

“This vital work continues and SEROCU is committed to bringing those who are found to be involved in these crimes through the court process to seek justice.”
