AN OXFORDSHIRE road is flooded after heavy rain battered the county yesterday.
A yellow weather warning was in place for much of the country due to Storm Christoph.

This meant there was a 'likely' chance that some homes and businesses could be flooded quickly.
A road in Islip was submerged in water as it lies close to the River Cherwell where river levels rose.
There is standing water half way between junction 8A and junction 9 of the M40 northbound and so speeds of 50mph have been set.
Gusts of wind reached a speed of 39mph in Oxford last night, but rainfall is expected to ease up today.
One flood alert is in place for the River Cherwell from Lower Heyford down to and including Oxford.
Property flooding in this location is not expected but river levels remain high and are slowly falling on the lower River Cherwell.

The flood information service says flooding of low-lying land, footpaths and roads is expected to continue, especially in the Kidlington area.
It is 'closely monitoring' the situation and incident response staff are in the area clearing weed/trash screens and operating weirs on the River Thames to reduce flood risk.
It advises people to 'remain safe and aware of your local surroundings and avoid contact with flood water'.
