PEOPLE across Oxfordshire woke up to snow this morning. 

Yesterday the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for snow and ice, lasting until 8pm today in some parts of the county

Oxford Mail:

It warned that some rural areas could 'become cut off' and temperatures would drop to below 0C.

Neighbourhood police officers in the South Oxon and Vale of White Horse area snapped a picture of a police car covered in a blanket of snow this morning. 


Firefighters also warned drivers making essential journeys to take care and check their tyres before setting off.
