A MAN spent £27 in McDonald’s with a stolen credit card.

Michael Brock, of no fixed abode, appeared in the dock of Oxford Magistrates’ Court on December 29.

The 37-year-old admitted fraud by false representation after using a Tesco credit card on December 5, 2019 in the McDonald’s on Cornmarket Street.

He also admitted:

  • Using threatening, abusive, and insulting words to a Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) on Magdalen Street on February 12, 2020
  • Common assault of a police officer at the John Radcliffe Hospital on February 17
  • Actual bodily harm on Botley Road on September 22

He was made subject to a community order and must have treatment for his drug dependency under the direction of Turning Point for 12 months.

He must also pay compensation of £50 and a victim surcharge of £95.
