Entertainments promoter Terry Penn has made a YouTube video tour of Oxford pubs, reminding drinkers in lockdown of what they are missing.
Mr Penn was born in north Oxford and grew up in St Ebbes and has worked in a number of the city’s hostelries.
He filmed the 17-minute video entitled The Best Pubs in Oxford: Inspector Morse Pub Crawl last year before pubs were placed in their latest lockdown.
It’s a comprehensive tour of the city’s best known pubs including The Eagle and Child, The Lamb and Flag, The Turf Tavern and The Kings Arms.

Most of the time Mr Penn filmed pub exteriors rather than going inside.
The 61-year-old, who now lives in Sutton Courtenay, said: “Things came to a bit of a standstill last year because of the coronavirus so I decided to do a series of Oxford vlogs, including one showing pubs in Oxford.
“I have worked in quite a few of them over the years including The Bulldog and The Wheatsheaf and I did some DJing at The Jolly Farmers in the late 1980s.

"At one point my whole family worked at The Kings Arms - I was collecting the glasses - and for years there were pictures of our family on the wall.”
Mr Penn, who now lives in Sutton Courtenay, near Abingdon, said he was looking forward to the end of lockdown restrictions.
