TikTok is an online video-sharing social network that took off in the UK over the first lockdown. 

Now there are hundreds of videos showcasing Oxford City Centre to the world and they are attracting millions of viewers. 

Oxford University campus tour - 2 million views

This video showing viewers around the centre of Oxford and Oxford University campus has amassed over 2 million views.

A rainy day in Oxford - 1.8 million

This video has similarly amassed a huge 1.8 million views and the student who created it now has over 43,000 followers dedicated to watching videos of the beautiful city.

A day trip to Oxford - 733.5K

Finally, this video of an autumnal day in Oxford documenting shots of everywhere over the city from the river to the university has just over 733,000 views.

Believe it or not, the trend for Oxford video tours is not the city's first taste of TikTok fame.

In November, an Oxford student went viral for documenting his experience of growing up on Blackbird Leys estate.

Alex O'Connors video got over 1.4 million views in less than 48 hours.
