A POLICE officer accused of making sexual comments and inappropriately touching colleagues will face the head of the police at a misconduct hearing.

The officer, who will be kept anonymous until the details are published by John Campbell, resigned from the force in October.

It comes after allegations were made in August that they also behaved badly off duty.

The claims are so serious that if proven, the former officer would have committed gross misconduct and could be banned from ever applying for a job in the police again.

The hearing will be held this week and details will follow.
