MARTIN Lewis has taken to Twitter to show off his latest device that buzzes when you break coronavirus rules.

The Money Saving Expert snapped his wrist band ahead of his show on ITV last night.

He said: “If you see us wearing these on the show tonight, they’re buzzers that ring if any of us or the crew get within two meters of each other.”

Oxford Mail:

The blue bracelets from the brand SpaceBands sent fans into a frenzy – with Mr Lewis having to publicly respond to the ‘ignorant and abusive’ responses.

He said the band only detects other watches and was helpful to camera operators who are looking through a lens.

Others were impressed with the gadget saying that everybody in a supermarket should be made to wear one.

The social distancing device looks much like a smart watch and will beep and vibrate when the wearer gets too close to another person.

The band, which retails at £24.99, does not need to be connected to an app and can stay charged for up to 10 days.

It also comes in five colours (black, pink, orange, green and blue) and can be set to alert people when they get within 1m, 2m or 3m of somebody else.
