OXFORD MAGISTRATES’ COURT

KIERON JOHN PHILLIP FLYNN, 35, of Mayfair Road, Oxford, admitted drink-driving in Oxford on November 15. He had 40mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. He was fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £35 and court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 12 months.

JASIAH HIGHTON, 21, of Amory Close, Oxford, admitted driving while disqualified and without a licence on Old School Place, Banbury, on September 19. He was fined £420 and ordered to pay court costs of £85. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

GEORGE HORTON, 25, of Lime Tree Close, Wantage, admitted drink-driving on October 31 on Mill Street, Wantage. He had 74mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. He was fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 18 months.

IAN GARY GREENWOOD, 33, of Court Farm Road, Oxford, admitted breaching the requirement of a suspended sentence order made by Oxford Magistrates’ Court on August 13 by failing to attend planned office visits on September 2, October 19 and November 6. He was sentenced again for the original offences of jointly stealing £500 worth of make-up from Boots on Cowley Road on July 21, as well as being in possession of diamorphine (heroin), a Class A drug, at St Aldate’s police station, and stealing £400 worth of make-up from Boots on Cowley Road on August 13. He was sentenced to 16 weeks in prison suspended for 18 months. He was also sentenced for failing to comply with the supervision requirements following a release from prison and was sent to prison for seven days.

STEPHEN LEE DAWSON, 19, of Newlands Avenue, Didcot, admitted breaching a community order made by Oxford Magistrates’ Court on November 24 by failing to attend appointments with a responsible officer on September 23 and October 5 and 12. He was fined £50.

LEO MORGAN, 19, of Bretch Hill, Banbury, admitted breaching a community order made by Oxford Magistrates’ Court on on March 20 by failing to attend appointments with a responsible officer on September 23 and November 19. He was fined £75.

JORDAN ROBERT BERRY, 18, of Pottery Piece, Oxford, admitted being in possession of a knife on Barton Road and Northway, Oxford, on May 28, 2019. He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £85. He must also forfeit the knife to be destroyed.

PAUL GRAY, 38, of Olympian Close, Long Hanborough, admitted drink-driving in Witney on November 16. He had 56mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. He was fined £250, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £34. He was also disqualified from driving for 36 months.

JERMAINE JONES, 38, of James Street, Oxford, admitted assault by beating a woman, criminal damage to various household items and racial harassment to a police officer on December 5 in Oxford. He also admitted committing a further offence during a suspended sentence made by Oxford Magistrates’ Court on August 7. He was sent to prison for 12 weeks because the offence was ‘so serious’. He was also made to pay a victim surcharge of £128.

STEFAN KENNETH HURLEY, 41, of Brasenose Driftway, Oxford, admitted drug-driving on June 20 on the A4142 in Cowley. He had 7mcg of cannabis per 100ml of blood, above the legal limit of 2mcg. He was fined £200, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 12 months.

ABDI FATAH QURANNYE, 21, of Regent Street, Oxford, admitted assault by beating and racially aggravated harassment to a police officer as well as common assault on July 15 in Oxford. He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months, ordered to pay a total of £175 compensation and court costs of £85.

MICHAEL ROBERTS, 41, of Temple Road, Oxford, admitted breaching a criminal order made by Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Ocotber 31, 2019 by being in Carfax on October 7 which he was prohibited from doing. He also admitted eight counts of stealing alcohol from Tesco on Cowley Road. He was sent to prison for six weeks because the offence is ‘so serious’ and he has a ‘flagrant disregard for court orders’. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £283.50, a victim surcharge of of £128 and court costs of £250.

BEN MILLER, 27, of Broad Oak, Woof Farm, admitted stealing a bike, costing £350, on February 14, 2019 in Wantage. He was fined £150 and ordered to pay compensation of £350. He was also made to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £250.

SARAH FILLERY, 42, of Baker Road, Abingdon, admitted drink-driving on November 11 at BP Service Station in Milton Heights in Oxfordshire. She had 71mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. She was fined £100, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £84. She was also disqualified from driving for 18 months.

SEBASTIAN JASON LOUIS TRIVELLA, 22, of Edgecote Way, Banbury, admitted being in possession of cannabis, a Class B drug, on June 25 as well as being in possession of a lock knife in Princess Diana Park. He was made subkect to a community order and must take part in an activity with a responsible officer for 17 days. He was also fined £50, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £85. He must also forfeit the drugs to be destroyed.

KATI COWLEY, 40, of Bradstocks Way, Abingdon, admitted drink-driving on September 12 in Abingdon. He had 97mcg of alcohol per 100ml of blood, above the legal limit of of 80mcg. She was fined £80, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £40. She was also disqualified from driving for 12 months.

JAMES WOODWARD, 43, of Haines Court, Abingdon, admitted drink-driving on Cothill Road, Abingdon on November 2, 2019. He had 95mcg of alcohol per 100ml of blood, above the legal limit of 80mcg. He was fined £400, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £40 and court costs of £300. He was also disqualified from holding a driving licence for 12 months.

MICHAEL CHARLES HARDISTY, 37, of Bernwood Road, Oxford, admitted being drunk and disorderly at the Pumpkin Cafe in Oxford Railway Station on November 6. He was fined £40 and ordered to pay court costs of £34 .
