Thick fog may have caused a multi-vehicle crash on the A34 last night.
There was poor visibility for drivers as the fog descended and there was a collision involving a number of vehicles on the northbound carriageway, near the Hinksey interchange at about 5pm.
Several vehicles were involved, with one people carrier crashing off the road.

Traffic tailed back for about 40 minutes while the emergency services dealt with the crash.
Drivers moved their vehicles so that paramedics could get through to the scene of the accident.

The Oxford Mail has asked South Central Ambulance and Thames Valley Police for details of the incident.
Thames Valley Police spokesman Kieren Bushnell said: "We were called to a two-vehicle collision on the A34 at Hinksey Hill yesterday evening.
No-one was injured and the road was cleared and subsequently re-opened."
