A SWIMMING pool is hosting a Boxing Day 'dip and donate' for Helen & Douglas House hospice.
For the first time ever, White Horse Leisure Centre in Abingdon will be opening for a Boxing Day Dip on Saturday between 9am – 12pm . It will also be opening at the same time on New Year’s Day.
The leisure centre will be collecting unwanted Christmas gifts and toys, which will be distributed to the charity’s children’s hospice.

Donations can be made at White Horse Leisure Centre from Boxing Day 2020 to New Year’s Day 2021.
Pam Radley, operations manager at White Horse Leisure Centre said: “It is more important than ever to support our local community during these tough times. People can leave their donations when they use the gym or pool, or just when they’re passing. We’re encouraging our members to bring something when they come in for their Boxing Day workouts.”
