A QUAD bike is believed to have been ridden around the Chipping Norton bowls club green, churning the turf into mud.
Club president John Quinn said: "It's deliberate, malicious damage. It looks as if the whole green has been run over by someone on a quad bike. Fortunately, it's winter, when we play indoors and we've got time to see to it."
Police are investigating the incident at the club, in Burford Road.
