KFC has opened its doors to a new Oxfordshire restaurant.
Fried chicken lovers can now visit the shop on Weston-on-the-Green.
KFC bosses said 50 new jobs had been made by the opening.
Oxfordshire is still in Tier 2 which means restaurants can stay open.
Diners have been told to expect strict hygiene regimes like regular cleaning, mask-wearing staff and Perspex screens.
Paul Lewis, the operations manager at the Euro Garages Group said: “It’s great to be bringing some cheer to the local community today! It’s been a difficult and tricky year for us all, but we love Weston-on-the-Green and our commitment to this areas is, as shown by the project, unflappable. We can’t wait to be at the fryers cooking up fried chicken for all of our local fans.”
The Bicester Mayor, councillor Jason Slaymaker said: “I am so pleased that KFC Weston-on-the-Green is opening today, what a great early Christmas present for the area. I welcome the 50 new jobs that KFC have created and provide an immediate boost to the local community.”
