PRIME Minister Boris Johnson has given the thumbs up to this Christmas card made by a talented Oxfordshire schoolgirl.

Conservative MP for Wantage David Johnston hand-delivered the painted card made by Grove CofE Primary School pupil Olivia Rance.

The nine-year-old girl was one of many children in the Wantage area who submitted designs to the MP's competition, which he announced in October.

It was open to all primary school children in Mr Johnston's constituency and the winner got to see their card in the hands of the PM.

In a touching post on Faceboon the MP praised winners and runners-up for their efforts: "Congratulations to them all!

"It was a very tough Christmas Card competition."
