STUDENTS spread the Christmas cheer by singing loud for all to hear.
Eleven pupils from Years 8 and 9 at Aureus School in Didcot stood in a cold car park to perform festive carols for the residents of Williams Place on the Great Western Park estate.
Teachers were determined to put on the annual 'Carols for the Community' event despite the gloomy year it's been.
Hannah Powell, the music leader said: "We would usually invite residents to come into school and enjoy our students singing for them, but obviously we couldn't do this. We hope that singing in the car park will go some way towards helping them enjoy the festive season."
The McCarthy and Stone retirement home is opposite the school and residents have balconies so could listen safely to the young singers.
