FRYER Prof Robert (Bob) Died on Sunday 6th December 2020. It is with fondness and pride that we remember him as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He dedicated his working life to education and lifelong learning, having a major and lasting inspirational influence on many. Extremely knowledgeable and perceptive with a penetrating intellect, sharp wit and good humour, he was caring, compassionate and a lifelong socialist who firmly believed in equal opportunities for all.

 

Sheila Barbara Charles

CHARLES Sheila Barbara (Woodgate) Passed away peacefully aged 88 years, surrounded by her family at her home in Wendlebury on the evening of Wednesday 25th November, 2020. Beloved Mother of Melvin, Stuart, Nicholas, Stephen, Bruce, David and Daughters Vikki, Ali, Charlotte, Kristy, Penny. Nan to Nicholas Jr, Derek, Matthew, Robert, Amy, Michael, Ciaran, Justin, Kristy, McKenna, Niall, and Harry in Heaven. Great Nan to, Faith, Nico, Harrison, Neave, Gracie, Evie-Mae, Russell, Kay-lynn, Kennedy, Kylie, Kenna and Kyla. She will be missed by so many. The family would like to pass on a special heartfelt thanks to Dr Holt of Bicester health centre and to the District Nurses that visited every day and were amazing, also to Sobell House OT's. HANKS Eric Of Wheatley. Sadly passed away at Gloucester Royal Hospital on 2nd December, aged 94 years. Due to current circumstances a private ceremony will be held. A Memorial Service will take place in Wheatley at a later date for all family and friends. JAMES Janet Of Charlbury. Passed away peacefully on 29th November 2020, aged 94 years. Wife of the late William and mother to the late Celia, she will be greatly missed. Arthur Richard 'Dick' Tolley

TOLLEY Arthur Richard 'Dick' Died on 28th November after a brief illness, a week before his 93rd birthday. Headington born and bred: steam train driver, wood turner, private pilot, gardener, motorcyclist. He will be much missed especially by his wife of sixty eight years, Jeannette, and his "little boy" Martin "Fred". Small family funeral 11:30, 18th December. At Dick's request please no flowers but kindly consider a donation in his memory to Helen and Douglas House.

 

James Donald (Donnie) Mccoll

McCOLL James Donald 'Donnie' Aged 98 years, dearly loved brother and uncle, WW2 RAF Pilot 148 Squadron. Previously of Eynsham, Oxford, lately of Lentran, Inverness. Died peacefully at home with his family in Polzeath, Cornwall, on Saturday, 28th November. Cremation private. LINFORD Tony Tony passed peacefully away in the JR Hospital on 5th December. Aged 86. Dearly loved husband to Betty for 65 years. Dad of Karen, Tracey and Helen.
