A black Smart car and a blue Mini were involved in the collision, with the drivers of both vehicles treated for minor injuries.

The front passenger of the Smart car was taken to hospital with serious injuries where he remains.

Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service, sharing pictures of firefighters at the scene, said on Tuesday they had freed the man, who was trapped in the car, by cutting off the roof.

Oxford Mail:

Station manager Andy Ford, from Thame, said: “This was a nasty collision with the two cars hitting each other head on.

“The fact that all the occupants of both cars were wearing seatbelts undoubtedly saved their lives."

Now Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to the crash.
