Heavy traffic as people return to Oxford following the lifting of national restrictions last week has been compounded by temporary lights in place as SGN carry out gas works.

These are due to last until the end of Monday.

Oxfordshire County Council has advised people to allow extra time to get into the city if travelling via this route.

There were further problems last night when it is understood the temporary lights were out of order which added to delays, with Oxford Bus Company tweeting its services were impacted.
