TWO military wives have created an elf trail following the success of a similar initiative with pumpkins.

Natalie King and Sarah Rigby, who live at RAF Brize Norton, have set up ‘The Big Carterton Christmas Elf Trail’.

Mrs King said: “The trail itself is to go to 13 locations around Carterton to find the pictures of the elves.

“Each location has a different coloured Santa hat and you need to colour the hats in from each location.

“Locations are shop windows dotted around town and some of the larger parks so all outside and can be done safely during Covid-19.

“We are both fully embracing Christmas this year and spreading the joy throughout the community.”

The elf trail started at the end of the national lockdown period yesterday, with all information in the Christmas Carterton Elf Trail Facebook group.
